Lucas Banks

A lifelong golfer and eleven-year PGA Member, Lucas has had a passion for golf since a young age.  Growing up in Sauk Prairie, Wisconsin, he was a four-year varsity member and began working in the golf business at Lake Wisconsin Country Club.  Graduating from Mississippi State’s Professional Golf Management Program in 2008, Lucas was elected to the PGA and began his teaching career at GolfTEC – Carmel in Indianapolis.

In 2011, Lucas took the opportunity to return to green grass at Heartland Crossing Golf Links as Director of Instruction where he later became Head Golf Professional.  Finishing up his time in Indianapolis at Southern Dunes Golf Course, Lucas moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, to teach full time for Jay Reid School of Golf, now taking the opportunity to return to management as Head Golf Professional at Skybrook Golf Club.
